(Sonnen)untergang – Sunset

Synopsis Deutsch:
Science Fiction in einer Minute, das habe ich mir für unseren Einminutenwettbewerb in Filmclub vorgenommen. Rausgekommen ist die Nachrichtenberichterstattung im Fernsehen des Jahres 2010. Der Film entstand im Jahr 2001.

Der Film hat an unserem Clubwettbewerb der Einminutenfilme teilgenommen und den ersten Preis gewonnen. Der Film hat dann beim Landeswettbewerb Ostbayern: den 1. Preis bekommen und bei den 23. Bayerische Film + Video Festspiele 2002: einen Bayerischer Löwen zugesprochen bekommen. Er lief noch beim Bundesfestival FANTEX in Lorch: und hat dort eine Bronzemedaille bekommen. Dies sind alles Amateurfilmwettbewerbe des Landesverband Film + Video Bayern e.V. und des Bundesverband Deutscher Film-Autoren e.V., wo ich durch meine Mitgliedschaft beim Film- und Videoclub Landshut VHS Mitglied bin.

Synopsis English:
Science fiction in one minute, that was where I wanted to do a movie for our minutecup competition in Landshut. The result is a news-television scenario in the year 2010. The film was shot and finalized in 2001. The meaning of the german word „Sonnenuntergang“ is sunset, but the second part of the word also means „Downfall“. So the title of the film is not translateable, because of its ambiguity.

This film was shown at the One Minute Movie Cup in our Movieclub and won the first prize. Later the film won the first prize at the regional contest and a lion at the bavarian film festival. Last but not least, the film won a bronze medal at the german experimental film festival. All these are amateur moviemaker festivals from the bavarian and german association of amateur movie makers, where I´m participating as a member of our local movie club in Landshut, Bavaria.
