Zeitbericht, 13 Minuten, gefilmt in Prag

Synopsis deutsch:
August 1968 bin ich mit meinen Eltern aus Prag in der Tschechoslowakei geflüchtet. Weihnachten 1989 durften wir wieder zum erstenmal nach Prag reisen. Ich habe das gefilmt und dabei entstand ungewollt ein Zeitdokument des damaligen Neubeginns als Vaclav Havel in einer zum ersten Mal freien Wahl zum Präsidenten gewählt wurde. Von dem was Ende 1989 passiert ist, ist heute nichts mehr zu sehen, deshalb ist es sicher ein ganz spezielles aber auch ein ganz persönliches Zeitdokument.

Am Beginn des Films sind Ausschnitte aus dem Spielfilm „Die unerträgliche Leichtigkeit des Seins“ zu sehen, um die Zeit vom August 1968 zu erklären.

Synopsis english:
August 1968 me and my parents left Prague due to the end of the Dubcek regime and the return of the old communist era. Christmas 1989 me and my parents could travel to Prague again, due to the new era what have just started with the free elections and Vaclav Havel as the new president. I have filmed our journey to Prague and a time documentary of a very special kind was born. Today nothing is left from the feelings of that time end of 1989 and therefore it is a special and a very personal document of mine.

The beginning of the film shows parts from the film „The Unbearable Lightness of Being“ to explain the time of 1968.
